My career so far

It started in 2010 when I decided beauty was my dream and biggest passion. For 4 years I studied the following at Bournemouth & Poole College: Level 1 & 2 Beauty Therapy, Level 1 Hairdressing & Level 3 Theatrical, Media, Special Effects Hair & Makeup. I have also done several additional courses: including spray tanning, brow lamination, lash lifts, henna brows, lip blush semi permanent makeup & more with reputable academies.

After leaving college I was the counter manager for Benefit Cosmetics, I have also worked for popular premium brands like Yves Saint Laurent & Clinique. After gaining an enormous amount of experience within the industry, Millie's Beauty Room was born in 2016! A business driven on passion and determination.

I truly love what I do and am so lucky to have such an incredible client base & support system. I have thousands of clients that I have done over the years, all different ages, races, tones and genders. I am known for my chilled out, fun and relaxed vibe. I will make you feel at ease with every treatment. ​I'm proud to say MBR has been going strong for over 7 years with 5 star ratings and glowing reviews across all platforms. Recently nominated for top 10 beautician in Bournemouth by the Daily Echo.  

Ever since I was little I have always been obsessed with all things girly! I am creative and love to empower women at all times. I love making people feel warm and fuzzy inside.If you can't find me in the salon, or working on location,  you'll either find me at the gym or spending time with friends and family. As a collective we have 3 dogs, 1 rabbit and a beautiful nephew that I love spending time with!
